Heron Cove Creations was established as a lifelong dream to build furniture for family and friends. After retirement from the public school system the dream was realized and the hobby turned to pleasurable work. Working with ones hands is rewarding enough, but to create furniture that people appreciate is a real joy.

Secondly, designing and building web pages was a developed skill acquired while maintaining a web presence for the School District of the City of York, Pa.

It seems a little incongruous that two rather divergent skills would come together to create Heron Cove Creations, but retirement allows you to pursue things you love.

The company is owned and operated by Greg and Marjorie Carkhuff who currently reside in south central Virginia.
